Reframe the Problem

Reframing the problem is the first step to building your venture. Too often, ventures begin with solutions or good technology, but neither of these are problems for individuals. When reframing the problem consider the user, their need and the insight.  Insights are understandings about the user that come to light as a result of research into their life, experience or perspective on your area of interest. The process outlined in the slides below is a good one to follow as you endeavor to keep your user at the centre of your venture development.

When
At the very beginning of your venture journey and throughout the Problem Validation phase. With every new test result you should reconsider the accuracy of your problem statement and revise it accordingly.
Why
It encourages you to question your working premise and be sure that you are keeping the user at the centre of your venture.
